Manually start the “Stories Untold” mission in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
By the end of 2025, GSC Game World added the free Stories Untold DLC, a new story line of several hours. According to the developers, you will “catch a PDA message anywhere on the map, with the biggest chance around the Burnt Forest.”
However, as I was about to enter Pripyat, I still haven’t received the distress signal that was supposed to trigger the new missions, even after running around Burnt Forest for quite a while.
Luckily some online searching revealed that you can manually start the new missions. To do so, simply go the Old Mine in the Red Forest region. Enter the mines, fight off the enemies you encounter, find Banzai, and talk to him. And that’s it—enjoy the Zone with some additional content!
